Before I came to Philippines, I was worried about dormitory, but the academy facility was similar to the picture that I showed at the academy. I used a room for two, but it was not that big or small.

I took the test on the first day and got assigned half of the class, but I even thought I wanted to go home because I was having a hard time because I couldn't get used to it at first, but after about a week, it was okay.

CIA, my English didn't When I first came to the  even know simple words. It didn't work. I haven't studied English since high school, and it's frustrating to say it in combination with a few sentences I know, but I thought I'm used to these things because I've had a lot of experience. I have to use English for about eight hours a day, so even if I go to class well, I can speak a lot better. 

A lot of people around me say Philippines is dangerous, but I think it's dangerous for any country to go out late at night alone. There's guards in the academy, and I've never felt like I was in danger out there or on a trip.

Unlike before I came to the Philippines, I adjusted well, met good friends, went out and had a lot of fun
