After coming to the CIA for language training, the biggest change was in my quiet and passive personality.

Because I had many private classes and my roommate changed every month or two, it was very difficult to adapt if I stayed still like before.

Whenever I met a new face, even if it was unfamiliar to me, I started greeting people with great joy if they were from Korea or with curiosity if they were from other countries. The number of friends I greeted more easily than I expected increased.

Talking with my friends gave me the opportunity to learn about cultures I had never heard of before and to explore different places in the Philippines together.

met in a group class, was so friendly from the first time we met that I exchanged Instagram accounts and spoke to her first.

Sometimes, when I was in a foreign country and I really missed home, it was very helpful to visit and talk to him. My friend graduated first, but we promised to go on a trip to each other's countries later and became good friends who we still keep in touch with.
